On July 30th U.S. time, Brown University stated that it had reached an agreement with the federal government. The federal government will resume research funding for Brown University and address compliance review issues.

        Earlier this year, two White House officials said that the Trump administration planned to suspend $510 million in federal grants and contracts to Brown University.

        It is reported that in the 2024 fiscal year, Brown University received approximately $184 million in support through federal grants and contracts.
